A restaurant in Austin was recently raided and seized after police allege that over a kilo of heroin was distributed from the restaurant. Here are some lines left out of the story:
“Undercover police became suspicious when over a late afternoon meal a detective was asked, ‘would you like smack with that?'”
“The restaurant was notable for the 27 stalls located in the men’s room.”
“In hindsight it might not have been a typo when the restaurant released bumper stickers stating, ‘Keep Austin Wired.'”
The interesting part of the story is the description of the owner who is touted as a well-respected business man and very politically influential. They also mention his two murder convictions. I mean one murder conviction I can see, it is Texas, but two crosses the line. This is definitely one of the more interesting stories I have read this week.
Authorities raid restaurant and arrest 18 people on heroin charges
